Founded by licensed esthetician Shardae Monique, Capital Complexion was created for clients who are ready to understand their skin — not just treat it. Here, skincare isn’t rushed, trendy, or one-size-fits-all. It’s thoughtful. It’s customized. And it’s built around long-term skin health. Meet Your Esthetician With over a decade of hands-on experience in the skincare industry, Shardae has worked with a wide range of skin types and concerns — from acne and hyperpigmentation to aging and barrier-compromised skin. Her background includes years of working in high-volume treatment environments as well as leadership roles that sharpened her ability to assess skin quickly, accurately, and holistically. After relocating to Washington, DC and stepping into a new season of life, Shardae founded Capital Complexion as a space where expertise meets intention — and where clients feel seen, heard, and supported throughout their skin journey. Her approach blends clinical knowledge with intuitive care, allowing each service to be customized based on your skin’s current condition, lifestyle, and long-term goals. CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellation & No-Show Policy At Capital Complexion, every appointment is intentionally reserved just for you. To provide the highest level of care and maintain availability for all clients, we kindly ask that you respect the time and energy that goes into each booking. Appointment Cancellations We require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before your scheduled appointment will result in a 50% service fee charged to the card on file. • This includes same-day cancellations. No-Show Policy Clients who fail to show up to their scheduled appointment without notice will be charged 100% of the service cost. No exceptions. Late Arrivals If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, your service may be shortened to respect the next client’s appointment. If you arrive 15 minutes or more late, your appointment may be canceled and considered a no-show, with the applicable fee applied. Payment & Booking Policy • A valid card is required to book all appointments. • By booking, you agree to all policies listed above. • Fees are automatically charged to the card on file. Respecting Our Time Together Capital Complexion operates by appointment only and reserves time specifically for you.
